French School Holidays2007-2008

Here is the French school vacation calendar for the 2007/2008 school year. Please note that this calendar follows the ‘general’ schedule and that some schools use the 4 day week and so have a slightly different program.

The 2007/2008 school year runs from September 4th to July 2nd.

French school holiday schedule (K - 12) for the 2007/2008 school year:

Holiday Zone A Zone B Zone C
Toussaint (All Saints Day) October 28th to November 7th October 28th to November 7th October 28th to November 7th
Noël (Christmas) December 23rd to January 6th December 23rd to January 6th December 23rd to January 6th
Hiver (Winter) February 17th to March 2nd February 10th to February 24th February 24th to March 9th
Printemps (Easter) April 13th to April 27th April 6th to April 20th April 20th to May 4th
Été (Summer) July 3rd to September 2nd July 3rd to September 2nd July 3rd to September 2nd

French School Zones:

Zone A includes - Caen, Clermont-Ferrand, Grenoble, Lyon, Montpellier, Nancy, Metz, Nantes, Rennes and Toulouse.

Zone B includes - Amiens, Aix en Provence, Marseille Besançon, Dijon, Lille, Limoges, Nice, Orléans, Tours, Poitiers, Reims, Rouen and Strasbourg.

Zone C includes - Bordeaux, Créteil, Paris and Versailles.
