I invite all my visitors and subscribers to have to have a great time on Americans in France (known as the 'Site'). But just so everything is clear, here are some rules and regulations. Failure to abide by the rules will result in immediate termination of access to Americans in France without refund (for subscribers) or recourse.

Disclaimer
The Driving Study Guide section of this Site is to be used as an aide for the written French driving test. It is not a driving school and has no accreditation. It should be used in conjunction with an Auto Ecole. It is a study guide and should be used as such.

Refund Policy

For products:
All of my products are refundable. If you ever buy any product and are dissatisfied for any reason return it within 30 days of receiving it for a refund equal to the price you paid less shipping costs. If for some reason you purchase a product and it dose not arrive you will be refunded in full.

For services:
All of my services are refundable, up to 5 days after fulfillment. If you purchase a service and are dissatisfied for any reason, you will be entitled to a refund equal to the price you paid less any processing fees.

For Driving Study Guide section subscription:
During the first week you can cancel at any time and your money will be refunded, less any credit card processing or refund fees, sometimes this can be as high as 20% of the sale.

Privacy Policy
To our knowledge the only tracking we do is through our sever logs and some session ids but some of our advertisers, those that we affiliate with or other third parties do use cookies, web beacons or some other tracking of you on this site.
Here is more information on how this site collects information about you:
Email Addresses: This site promises to never ever sell, give or exchange your e-mail address with/to anybody or business. We hate SPAM as much as you do. Any e-mail address that you send this site will be kept in a database and on a mail server computer and not sold and exchanged.
Log Files: Like with just about every web site, this site has server logs that are looked at regularly. Server logs have user IP address, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring and exiting pages, operating system, date/time stamp, pages you look at on this site, the keywords you used to access this site should you have come from a search engine. This doesn’t mean this site has access to email address (unless using this sites contact form or sending in some other way) or other personal information like name, street address and so on.
Cookies: A cookie is a file stored on a user’s computer with information about the user. Our site does not use cookies. Nevertheless, business partners that we work with do use cookies on our site. This site does not have access to any cookies that a business partner might use.
Advertisers: In some cases our business partners do have ads on this site. These ads may put cookies/web beacons or some other type of tracking on user’s computers but again we don’t have access to any information collected.
Other Tracking: To our knowledge the above is the only tracking we do. But it’s possible we have missed something and this privacy policy will be update without notice.

Subscribers
Subscribers cannot share their logon passwords and user names. Sharing of passwords or user names will result in the lost of access rights.

Forums
No advertising, trading of goods or services, or other commercial use is allowed. No bulk e-mail, junk mail or spam, chain letters, or repeat postings of the same message is permitted anywhere on the forums, no hate messages or disrespectful postings and no profanity. Remember that this site is about France so posts not about France can be deleted. Use your own name when posting. Treat other posters with courtesy and respect when posting messages to the forum. No unnecessary name-calling or abuse toward anyone is allowed. When you post content in the Americans in France forums, you grant to this Site the complete, perpetual, but non-exclusive right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, distribute, sub-license, etc. the content in whole or in part, throughout the world on a royalty-free basis. The Site reserves the right to edit, change, move or delete all posts.

E-mail Questions
I reserve the right to post excerpts, perhaps edited, from any question asked through Americans in France.
