Question: What type of food do the people of France eat?
Answer: In general the French eat a lot of meats(mostly with a sauce), cheeses, fresh salads and bread. Eating is the most important aspect of French culture. It is not uncommon for French people to sit and talk as they eat, often for over an hour. On my wed site, www.americansinfrance.net, I have a section on French culture, look under General Thoughts.
