Q & A

Subject: Paris or Nice and then Lourdes.

Question: I plan to visit France - particularly - Lourdes. I wanted to know which would be more economic and time saving - to come to Paris or Nice and then go to Lourdes by train. Also how much time will it take from both places. thank you very much. your assitance will be greatly appreciated.

Answer:

My suggestion would be going to Paris first. I say this because you are going to past through anyway, as just about all flights to France end up in Paris. I would suggest that you take a train to Lourdes from Paris. Have a look at, http://www.sncf.fr, it is the French company web site. It will supply you with timetables and tickets can be ordered on-line.
As for how long it will take for each place that depends on you and how much money you have, budget travel in France costs about $50 to $70 a day. Also you need to think about how long you can travel for at a time. Me I can't be a tourist over a week without losing it. The official web site for Lourdes is, http://www.lourdes-france.com/bonjour.htm.
