Subject: From Avignon to Aix by TGV.
Question: I am trying to determine whether there is direct train or bus service between Avignon and Aix. It looks like the new TGV Mediterranean runs between the two cities, but the rail Europe website does not provide time schedules.
Answer: There are direct trains, TGV’s, from Avignon to Aix. Have a look at http://www.sncf.com, the French train company web site for a complete schedule. What I am not sure about is the train stations, both cities list most than one. I think that the TGV trains use different stations than the local trains.
