Genevois RegionThe Môle
This is the Môle, not far from Geneva. The Môle has the unique distinction of being the first mountain that has been recognized in a painting. In 1444 Konrad Witz painted the Môle in La pêche miraculeuse (Miraculous Draught of Fishes).
