Haute-Savoie (French Alps)Genevois Region

The Genevois is the Swiss-French cross boarder region that surrounds the City of Geneva. It’s area is roughly the Jura Mountains to the northwest, Lake Geneva to the north, the Arve River to the east and the town of Cruseilles to the south.

The Genevois is predominately mountainous as it is near the Alps. The Genevois offers a number of breathtaking views of not only the Alps but also of the City of Geneva. Of note are the views offered from the Mont Salève of both the Alps and the City of Geneva.

Attractions in the Genevois Region
Le Môle - 6,112 feet high mountain that offers a 360 degree view of the Genevois.
Pont de la Caille - One of the oldest still used suspension bridges in the world.
Mont Salève - Offers the best view of Geveva.
Raw Milk Vending Machine - Get raw milk 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Fairy Stones (Pierre aux Fées) - 2000 to 3000 year old stones that form a shelter.
