Overall Rating (In general how would you rate this location as an expat): Excellent
Would you recommend this location to a potential expat? Yes

Best Plus: Quality of the food, emphasis on service at the local shops and stores, almost non-existent commercialism on radio and TV, excellent health care and schooling, fluid driving conditions, the 'global perspective,' lack of pollution, traffic and crime, the champagne (YOU should know about this...) I could go on but I won't

Biggest Drawback: Stores close a little bit earlier than I would like, hard to find quality home-office products, those damn scooters and mopeds, and the fact that I miss my Toyota pick up whenever I go to Brico Depot.

Comments: I'm a fellow Californian and live in the department just north of you. Great site but I have to disagree with you about availability of jobs and cost of furniture. **[email protected]**
