Traffic in France 2008August
With summer in full swing so is traffic congestion on French roads. August has the only national Black (very heavy) traffic days of the year – Saturday August 2nd. There are also 4 Red (heavy) traffic and 10 Orange (moderate) traffic days. The Red and Orange days are either on weekends or Fridays. As is often the case the best days to travel by car are during the week Monday to Thursday. The lighter traffic days are near the end of the month.
