Northern BurgundyMemorial for the Future (Mémorial pour l'Avenir)
On July 31st 1982 a bus carrying school children crashed near Beaune, killing many students. The bus was traveling on the A6 Autoroute at night and collided with a truck.
In memory of the victims a "Memorial for the Future" (Mémorial pour l'Avenir) was constructed. It is located in the Aire de Curney on the southbound side of the A6 Autoroute, just after Beaune.
