Southern BurgundyLa Pierre Levée - Pagan Stone
La Pierre Levée, 'meaning rising' stone is of pagan origin. A cross was carved out of its top portion at some point in its history.
Located on a private farm in the Burgundy department of the Saône-et-Loire on the D14 road between villages of Chapaize and Martailly, easily viewable from road.
