French Highway System (Autoroute)A6 Autoroute

The A6 Autoroute is a toll road that runs from Paris to Lyon. It more of less parallels the N6 National road and for a time the Saône River.

As with all Autoroutes in France, the A6 has Aires - Rest Stops about every 20 kilometers (12 miles). Some of the larger Aires sell regional products. Prices at Aires are high, so you may want to wait when buying gas/diesel or food unless you really need to.
On Autoroutes, exits are called sorties and have numbers. Here's photos and information on sortie 28 - Mâcon-nord.
