Shopping in the Loire Valley

Shopping in small towns and villages in France is always an adventure. Oftentimes the most fun is the people who are so willing to help with the translation, or with your choice of items to buy. Remember, a clerk in a grocery, a bakery, or an antique store is thrilled to meet an American. The bellhop in a hotel, and the waiter in a restaurant, is thrilled to get a tip. And I have a tip for them, - well maybe I better not say it here! We ate French food three times a day, that is, food purchased in a French grocery, and cooked in our RV by the best cook on the continent.

As in so many of our 'memories,' we don't know exactly which town this was, but we were wandering in the Loire Valley when we discovered this beautiful shopping street. We have no schedule, we ignore any itinerary.
