Campground in France

Have you ever seen a hotel room this inviting? To each his own. During business and personal travel Jim has spent at least 1,000 nights in hotels in over 75 different states, countries, and islands (from The Czech Republic to the Island of Saipan), and well over a thousand nights in our RV in campgrounds in about 45 states, 9 Canadian Provinces, and 25 European countries. He says that if he never spends another night in a hotel room, that will be soon enough. There is no comparison, of that we can agree.

One year we stopped at this campground during a rainy spell. They told us to park, 'over there.' We told them that if it rained some more, that would be too soft, but they knew better. As you might guess, they were unhappy to find they had to push us out of the mud the next morning. Not too bad, with two men pushing, and a couple of boards under the wheels, we made it, and only left a couple of pot holes in their lawn.
