Hello,
I will be visiting Paris in September to cover a few stories, one of which targets American expats in Paris. While one of the publications is Chicago based, anyone with an interesting story or career path abroad will be considered.

Rebecca I just had a "typing accident"...As said a few minutes ago: sorry for delay...people question the aera because very few anglo-saxons live here - Reason unknown. Telling people about few contacts - unless you have a château...answer: not even! A lot of "châteaux" belong to foreigners... who are on their property - once in a while...Some live - in Japan...or in Chicago!.... ...Years ago (a lot) my wife raised "a Rebecca", from birth!...Maybe one day I'll be able to get you a photo - and more details. We are 30 kms north of Bordeaux... Have a good day!

Fortunately I have hundreds books and half a dozen subs to mags.... Have a good day!

Albert,
I just returned from France today! I was not in your area, however, I anticipate another trip this winter and have not yet solidified my itinerary. Where exactly are you located? What makes people question the area that you are in?

My wife and myself are retired in the South-West of France since 1990, coming from the States. We have no contacts interested in our 30 years spent in 5 States..... Not "a" question....The country, our jobs.....Somebody said: you never say anything "bad" about it....We heard that we are in the wrong part of France....Well, at 80, it would be too complicated to move - and too expensive...If only because of the exchange rate of the dollar which takes 30% off our pensions... Any questions? We wish you a plaisant stay in France.
Have a good day! Sincerely,
|
