Eiffel Tower'Secret' Chimney

Chimney near the west corner of the Eiffel Tower. Chimney built in 1887 was used during the tower's construction as an energy source. As you can tell it's well covered by nature and is often missed by tourist. Sometimes off the beaten path isn't far!

Chimney is next to what looks to be a human made rock formation and pond (also missed by many tourist) and Allée des Refuzniks, named for Refuseniks who were refused the right to emigrate from the USSR.

Eiffel Tower's Pond. Can you see the chimney in the first photo? It's just right of center, above a cave opening.

Pond and Eiffel Tower's foot.

Eiffel Tower behind the rock formation.
