Dictionary French to English. English to French.

This by no means is anything like a complete French English Dictionary or even a phrase book. It is a guide for day to day French words and expressions that I hope will make it easer for you to be an American in France. I have tried to include words and expressions not normally found in a French Dictionary or language guide book. The French words or expressions are in the context of tourism and can have other meanings not listed here.

For a home French Dictionary try the Larousse Advanced Dictionary and for a travel French Dictionary try Rick Steves' French Phrase Book.
The two books that I have found most helpful to learn French are 501 French Verbs and Easy French Reader.
