I am planning on moving to France this winter, in hopes of finding a job that will teach me more about French wine. I currently live in New York City and work in a great restaurant and know a good bit about wine. Anyone who could help with advise or etc. would be greatly appreciated. I'm 23 years old and am looking for a break. Thanks.

It would be interesting to see if there is an opportunity for you to work during the coming grape harvest. I suppose it would be "under the table" but a great opportunity nonetheless to learn and make contacts.
Unfortunately, the French share of wine exports has dropped dramatically in recent years due to cheap global imports from Australia, South Africa, Chile, etc. Therefore I suppose the finances of the Chateau owners is much tighter than before. Still, it could be a good time and strategy to get yourself in the door.
