Subject: Retirement to France
Date: Sunday, August 08, 2004
Name: Jo
Message: We are ex Brits, now US, with US and British Passports, and we are thinking about moving to France, next year. We are retired, so no work permits needed. How do we start the ball rolling. Do we need to apply for Visas etc. What paperwork is required to purchase property and live in France.

Message use your UK passports and you have no problems, since the UK is part of the EU. Depending on where you want to buy a house, there are plenty of real estates agents aimed at the British wanting to buy/move to France.
