| Message: | Hi everyone, I wanted to know something. My gf is american and i'm planning to go there under a J1 visa. If we get married there, what can happen? Do i have to go back to france for the 2 years condition or am i exempted in that event? Please help me out. Thanks in advance Greg |

Marrying a USC will not prevent you from having to go back to France, you WILL have to do that. You may be able to get a waiver but they are very very hard to get.
