Message HI,

I saw your message on this message board as I was searching to find an expat community in Orleans. I don't know how old your message was, but my husband and I are moving to Orleans soon.

I'd be glad to hear if you've found any English speakers there...

Message Dear Cyndi,

Yours is the first response I got. We will be moving to Orleans on May 24th. Actually, we will live in St. Jean de Braye, which is a suburban town to Orleans 15 minutes by car to the centre vill of Orleans. St. Jean de Braye is also known as Quartier IBM because IBM has some big operation there. I did overhear a group of young people from IBM speaking English in a restaurant in the Old Town when we were last there.

We would over to meet you when you arrive. If there isn't an expat group, we can start one. There may be expats working in the multinational companies in the Orleans area who we can recruit. Please contact us offline at [email protected]. A bientot, Jim
