Hello:
I am looking to relocate to France in the near future and have heard that the easiest way is to get hired by a U.S. company with locations in France. I am looking for a list of U.S. companies with offices located in France. Does anyone know of any web sites I can go to? |

May I suggest that you get in touch with the American Chamber of Commerce in Paris: 156 boulevard Haussmann 75008 Paris Phone+33 (0) 1 5643 4567 Fax: +33 (0) 1 5643 4560 website:www.amchamfrance.org I think there is a price to pay in order to obtain such a list, but I am not 100% sure. If a US citizen works for a US company in france, does this time working there count towards the 5 years you have to live legally in france in order to apply for citizenship? Or do you have to work for a french company while legally living in france for 5 years?
I would be very interested to know, because I'm guessing it would not be impossible as a U.S. citizen to get a job with a U.S. company, provided your french is good. What do you all think? Cydalise |
