A slightly different take on the "marriage" question; I need to find info on costs to start working up a budget. Looking at a summer wedding in bretagne, small village, about 250 invitees. Seen the posts here about "traditional" wedding, quite helpful. Also, the info about what is required - working on that. So, any suggestions as to where i can find a french wedding planning guide that would help me work up cost estimates?
thanks

First, you have to have a civil wedding at the mairies office in the village. After that, you can have anything else you want. Either you or your fiance has to reside in the village for 3 months before you get married. You must have proof that one of you has been living there the allotted amount of time. Also you have to get your blood tests there. Your wedding has to be posted at the mairie approximately 10 days before you get married by the person who is living there the 3 months. Before you start on the budget, you might want to get information from the French consulate about all that is required.
