| Message: | My wife and I are planning on going to France for a year or so. We have read about the need for a Visa de Long Sejour, but is it REALLY necessary? What are the risks or problems we could face if we simply fly into Paris and take an occasional trip to a neighboring country? Would it be more difficult to buy or lease a car or home without a visa? How about difficulty returning to the US a year later? Any insight or information would be very helpful. Thank you! |
