The CarBaggage & Large Loads

In General

Baggage and cargo should be placed in the trunk if possible. Avoid puting objects on the back dashboard in case of a sudden stop, when these objects will become small missles aimed at the back of your head.

Large Loads

If you must carry something bigger than your car, it cannot stick out past the front bumper. In the back, it's OK to have the load stick out 1 m. For more than that, you need a warning reflector. You also need a red light if travelling at night or in bad visibility. No matter what, it cannot stick out more than 3 m past the rear bumper.
