Internet Access FranceCan I have ADSL in France?

The answer to this question is ‘it depends on your phone line’. If you live near a city or town, most likely the answer is yes. The easiest thing to do is test your telephone line. Note: If you are moving and would like to know if ADSL is possible or don’t have a phone line yet, then the best thing to do is check your local town hall’s (Mairie) number or the number of someone that lives near you.

To test if a French phone line supports ADSL, type in the number below and click ‘Test Line’.

Please note that the results are in French.
Also please give the page time to load. It’s pulling a lot of information at once so it takes time.
Please beware that it’s possible for there to be a false positive. That is tested line comes up as okay for ADSL but it’s not. It’s rare but it has happened at once that I know of. JS
