Accommodations in FranceTimeshare

Explore France with a Timeshare
By Amy Stewart

From skiing, snowboarding and hiking through the French Alps, to exploring the art, culture and cuisine of Paris, there's something for every kind of vacationer in France. The multifarious nature of this beloved country is one of the reasons thousands of travelers visit France every year. There's always something new and different to see, which is why many vacationers have chosen to explore the country with a timeshare. These vacation properties will allow you to travel to dozens of locations within this excitingly diverse country for one annual or biennial rate.

Timeshares were invented by a Swiss resort developer who encouraged his guests to "stop renting a room," and buy the hotel instead. That's the idea behind timeshares. If you own a piece of vacation property, you will always be able to secure accommodation, whenever and wherever you travel. In fact, one of the most favored benefits of these vacation properties is their flexibility. If traveling around France is something you would like to commit to, consider purchasing a timeshare to secure a lifetime of lodging for one rate.

Organizations called vacation clubs (like Hilton Grand Vacations Club, Marriott or Bluegreen) and exchange companies (like RCI or Interval International) make it possible for owners of timeshare to trade their time at their home resort (the resort that is listed on the deed or contract) for time within one of their various networks. These organizations differ in their methods, but their goal is the same. Both strive to allow owners of timeshares to travel to locations outside of their home resort.

The method you choose will depend on your specific vacation needs, desires and budget. When vacation clubs sell timeshare, they tend to be more expensive, but you are paying for a certain guarantee of quality. Exchange companies tend to be more flexible and affordable, but they require annual or biennial membership. Weigh your options carefully; your timeshare is a lifelong investment.

If you're interested in purchasing a France timeshare so that you may explore the many different sides of this varied country, you can save thousands when you buy your timeshare resale. And if you are interested in exploring the ins and outs of France, but are not ready or able to purchase a vacation property at this time, you can find excellent timeshares for rent on the online resale market. When owners aren't able to use their week, many will rent timeshare out in order to offset their maintenance fees. Look for a timeshare rental to explore France on a budget.
