Q & A

Subject: What do students do in France?

Question: I would like to know what the people of France do in school in their everyday lives and wanted to know what its like for them compared to our schools in America. (Jr.High and High school age)

Answer: Here is what I know about French Jr. High and High schools, its not a lot, a typical school day goes like this, classes in the morning 8 to 12 then lunch 12 to 2 then classes again 2 to 5. There is no school on Wednesdays, this is made up by a half day Saturday mornings. The school year runs from early September to late May, with vacations in November for one week, December, February and April for two weeks. Jeff
