Q & A

Subject: CDG to Lourdes.

Question: Please tell me the name of the TGV train station that's nearest to the grotto in Lourdes, France. I'll be arriving CDG on Apr.29th at 11:00 A.M. and would like to hop in a train that will take me directly to Lourdes. The TGV website doesn't have a "Lourdes" or a "Pau" station. I'd like to take the TGV train back to Paris of May 1st or 2nd. Please advise, and thank you kindly.

Answer: Have a look at this link it should help you, http://www.lourdes-infotourisme.com/english/acces/acces_train.htm. I had no problem finding a Lourdes or a Pau station on the SNCF web site, http://www.sncf.fr. I don't think there will be a direct train from CDG to Lourdes. Also on May 1st you might have a problem getting a train, as that date is French Labor Day.
