Q & A

Subject: Beauvais to Angers

Question: I am travelling to Angers (Brain Sur L'Authion) for a wedding with my partner and we are flying into Beauvais on Fri 23rd Aug morning. I have been trying to work out how to get from Beauvais to Angers and how much this would cost, and also time to do this. We will be leaving Angers on Mon 26th Aug morning returning for our flight in early evening but I am finding it very difficult to find relative sites to work all this out. I am hoping you can help me out as it would be very appreciated. Hope you can help - need to get the best man to a wedding!!

Answer: Here is what I found on the French train company web site(http://www.sncf.com), Beauvais to Angers, changing trains in Paris, will take about four hours, there are no direct trains. It takes so long because of the layover in Paris, about two hours. Beauvais to Paris only takes ten minutes and Paris to Angers takes about an hour and a half. The cost of the trip one way is about 45 euros. There seems to be a lot of trains that go from Paris to Angers, maybe you could take a bus or taxi to Paris from Beauvais and then take the train to Angers. The train station that you would leave from in Paris is Montparnasse.
