Q & A

Subject: Airport to airport transportation options.

Question: I need to get from CDG airport to the Beauvais airport to catch a cheap Ryanair flight to Shannon. Is there a train from CDG to Bequvais without going all the way to Paris first? If not, what would the approximate taxi fare be - mid afternoon, two persons.

Answer: There are no direct trains from CDG airport to Beauvais airport, as French trains work on the hub system with Paris as the center. The From CDG airport to Paris, Gare du Nord is 32 minutes and from Paris (I think Gare du Nord, but I could be wrong about the station.) to Beauvais airport is an hour and eleven minutes. I got this info off the SNCF, French railway company web site, www.sncf.fr. Sorry I don’t have an idea about the cab fare, but it will be many more times than the train.
