Alsace is only at a few hours drive from such major European cities as Paris, Zurich, Lyon, Brussels, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf and Milan.
Some of Alsace's most important tourist attractions are, the Strasbourg Cathedral, Strasbourg yearly Christmas market, Wine road of Alsace and the castle of Haut-Kœnigsbourg …
Alsace has a history different than the rest of France; it has on several occasions been apart of Germany. Some people in Alsace speak Alsacien as their first language, mostly in rural villages.
Alsace is France's smallest region and one of its most dense. Alsace's central location has lead to its strong economic growth rate over the last few years. Many European and foreign companies have some major investments, including Advents, GM, Lilly, Dow in Alsace.
