So, Because our toddler doesn't watch T.V. I am not familiar with all of the singing and dancing characters that are out there "Barney, Square Bob etc.." Then through a random search on YouTube I found the Tweenies, and then their site. I like them because they sing all the traditional songs that I remember as a kid. Old McDonald, Wheels on the Bus, Eeesy Weensy Spider, and others.
What I am wondering, is if there is an equivilant group singing in French? Geared towards toddlers and singing the old kids songs (and new ones too I guess).
Thanks for your help, S

Hi, we live in the south of France and there is a channel here called PIWI and inbetween cartoons they have the old french nursery rhymes shown with cartoon characters singing and dancing around to the tune. That's how we came to love some of the traditional French children's songs. Other than that they have Barbapapa. I love Barbapapa, too, they were made in the 70's with a very green tilt still necessary today. Hope this helps! Enjoy-

Dear Shannon,
We have Henri Des who has been around for years and years. He has several CDs that can be purchased on amazon.fr. My children adore him.
Funny how you found the Tweenies. My children are big fans. The Tweenies are not longer big in France but they were a few years back.
Do you live in France? best regards, ag
