Message: How do I get French citizenship? I have U.S. citizenship. I want dual citizenship. I was born in Paris, France. I am under 18 years old. I live in USA with my parents. My parents are U.S. citizens who were born in Cambodia.

Message Being born in France does not give the right to citizenship. If you were born in France to foreign parents you can only apply for citizenship if you are under 18 and if you have been living in France for a total of 5 years since the age of 11.

Good luck.
