Real Time TrafficIle de France
The below map is color coded with a legend at the bottom left. The translations are:
- Fluide: Uninterrupted Flow
- Bouchons: Traffic Jams
- Travaux: Road Work
- Pas d'info: No information
- Fermetures: Closed
- Accidents: Accidents
Generally speaking red and black aren’t good and green means the traffic is moving along.
On the right side are four boxes, from top to bottom they are:
- Accidents en IdF: Listing accidents with location. Nominally this means the town/city and road or highway of the accident along with time, type and comments.
- Bouchons en IdF: Graph (red) of a typical day and the number of traffic jams per hour. Under the red graph is the actual traffic for today. Underneath are the kilometers of traffic jams in the Ile de France.
- Tout le trafic en France en temps réel: Small map of France with a real time traffic map of France.
- Previsions Bison Futé: Triffic estimation for today and tomorrow from the French minister of Transportation. Days are classified as Black (Very Heavy Traffic), Red (Heavy Traffic), Orange (Moderate Traffic) or Green (Normal Traffic). More traffic estimations can be found here.
Clicking anywhere on the below map opens a new window and takes you to the Infotrafic® website. If any box is empty and just has words then all is well in that region.
