Sales in FranceWinter Sales in France 2012

The 2012 winter sales in France (Soldes d'Hiver 2012) start on Wednesday January 11th. But there are a few departments where they start earlier. They are Meurthe-et-Moselle, Meuse, Moselle and Vosges (Lorraine region) who start on Monday January 2nd and Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Landes and Guyane start on January 4th. The 2012 winter sales last for 5 weeks.

Some overseas departments have their own starting times independent of mainland France.
Dates are:
Guadeloupe - January 7th
Saint-Barthélémy et Saint-Martin - May 5th
Guyane - January 4th
La Réunion - September 1st
Saint-Pierre et Miquelon - January 18th
