FantaisieHappy Saint Day

Here are some Fantaisie - Bonne Fête postcards. Bonne Fête generally means Happy Saint Day, but can also mean happy birthday. In the Catholic Church, as in other churches saints and holy people have specially designated feast days or saint days. A person would get Bonne Fête postcard not on their birthday but on the saint day of the saint they are named after. For example Peters would get a Bonne Fête postcard on June 29th, St Peter's feast or saint day.
