Daily LifeAmerican Clubs/Organizations in France

France is full of Americans (100,000?) and many other native English speakers. So it is of no surprise that there are lots of organizations in France for them.
My one word of caution is that it can be very nice to meet with other English speakers, but it can also make one feel homesick and delay learning French.

By City/Region:
Paris
Lyon
Alps
Alsace/Strasbourg
Aquitaine/Bordeaux
Bretagne
Burgundy
Languedoc
Limousin
Midi-Pyrénées/Toulouse
Provence

Advocacy Groups:
AARO - Association of Americans Resident Overseas: Issue-oriented organization dealing with subjects related to the overseas American community - citizenship for children, taxation, banking, medical coverage for those who retire abroad.
ACA - American Citizens Abroad: Non-profit, non-partisan, all-volunteer organization that represents the interests of Americans living and working outside the U.S. to the Executive Branch of the U.S. Government, the U.S. Congress, and the U.S. Federal Judiciary to insure that Americans overseas are treated with equality and fairness.
