CultureSheep Shearing (La Tonte)

Below are photos from La Tonte - the sheep (race Dorset Down) shearing that took place on my brother-in-law's farm in May of 2004. In total, over 200 sheep received a 'hair cut.' The shearing lasted from seven in the morning until four in the afternoon. There were two sheep shearers, tondeurs, hired to do the actual shearing.

See photos from the sheep sharing of 2009.
