Here is the French public school vacation calendar for the 2011/2012 school year.

The school year runs from September 5th to July 5th.

French school holiday schedule (K - 12) for the 2011/2012 school year:

Holiday Zone A Zone B Zone C
Toussaint (All Saints Day) October 22nd to November 2nd October 22nd to November 2nd October 22nd to November 2nd
Noël (Christmas) December 17th to January 2nd December 17th to January 2nd December 17th to January 2nd
Hiver (Winter) February 11th to February 26th February 25th to March 11th February 18th to March 4th
Printemps (Easter) April 7th to April 22nd April 21st to May 6th April 14th to April 29th
Été (Summer) July 6th to September 3rd July 6th to September 3rd July 6th to September 3rd

French School Zones:

Zone A includes - Caen, Clermont-Ferrand, Grenoble, Lyon, Montpellier, Nancy, Metz, Nantes, Rennes and Toulouse.

Zone B includes - Amiens, Aix en Provence, Marseille Besançon, Dijon, Lille, Limoges, Nice, Orléans, Tours, Poitiers, Reims, Rouen and Strasbourg.

Zone C includes - Bordeaux, Créteil, Paris and Versailles.
