Captcha

It is a captcha. A what? A captcha is a method to tell humans apart from computers. In short a computer can’t read a captcha but human can. That way I’ll now know that a human is sending me messages and not a computer. For more reading see the Captcha Wikipedia article.

Over the last few months a spammer or spammers have been using my contact and other forms to send me more spam than I have ever gotten in my life. The only solution that I think will stop them is using a captcha. Believe me I don’t like doing this anymore than you do. But I really don’t have any choice. What you have to now do is type in the text shown in the image. If you don’t, then your message will not be sent. What this does is stop bots (that is the automatic computers that spammers use) from send me spam. As bots can’t read an image so they can’t send me spam. Once I feel the spammer have gone away I’ll take down the captcha. Until then I’m sorry for any trouble this might cause you. JS
