Beaune FranceFallot Mustard Mill Beaune

Located just outside the old center of Beaune is the last family run Mustard Mill or Moutarderie in Burgundy - Fallot Mustard Mill. Created in 1840 and still located on its original grounds the Fallot Mustard Mill has since February 2003 open its doors to the public and offers tours of it facilities. This includes making mustard by hand, viewing a short movie about mustard and visiting a small museum that displays a number of machines once used to make mustard. The tour ends with a tasting of an assortment of mustards in the Mustard Mill shop. The shop has a wide selection of mustards for purchase.

Tickets can be purchased at the Beaune Tourist Office or the Fallot Mustard Mill. Cost is 10 euros per person (summer 2004).
