Eiffel TowerThen & Now Photos

Set of 5 'Then & Now' photos of the Eiffel Tower. 'Then' photos are old postcards from before the 1920s. 'Now' photos from 2014.

First four photos of the Eiffel Tower taken from the Pont de Bir-Hakeim. 'Then' photo is a postcard postmarked May 6th, 1902. The buildings in front of the Eiffel Tower look to be from the Exposition Universelle of 1900.

Again this is from the Pont de Bir-Hakeim. The bigger of the buildings from the Exposition Universelle of 1900 looked to have been removed by the time this photo was taken. It's postmarked November 1907.

Eiffel Tower from Avenue de Suffren.

Eiffel Tower from the Trocadéro. This was before the remodeling of the Trocadéro in the 1930s.

Looking at the base of the Eiffel Tower with the once Palais du Trocadéro in the distance. The Palais du Trocadéro was replaced by the Palais de Chaillot in the 1930s.

Scaffolding from remodling of the Eiffel tower's first floor - 2012-2014.
