Eiffel TowerGlass Floor

Photos of the glass floor installed in 2014 on the first level of the Eiffel Tower. The glass sections let visitors look down at a 180+ foot drop and cover over 1,500 feet. There are 64 slabs of glass an inch and a quarter thick. Each slab can support over 100 pounds per square foot. Glass siding was also installed on the first level giving visitors a clear view across first level's open section.

Access to the glass floors are included in the price of admission. The addition of glass floors was part of a two year €25 million refurbishment of the first level.
