Southern BurgundyCluny

Discover Cluny as most travelers don't, with my Cluny Then & Now Street Walk!

Set of 'Then & Now' photos of Cluny.

Cluny is a nice town for a walk. You can visit the town's Abbey church, once the largest in the world. Saturday morning there is a market not far from the Abbey in Place du Marché where you can buy local products. There is also a horse center - Les Haras Nationaux that is open to the public from time to time.

It's best to park outside the center of town, there are a few parking lots and then walk into town. Cluny also has a post office, ATMs, supermarket and it's also on the Voie Verte bike path.

Tourist office in town. There is another at the Abbey.

Hôtel des Monnaies - 6 rue d'Avril

Hotel de Bourgogne - 1 rue porte des pres
