Teresa Kaufman leads unusual and secret itineraries designed to discover, taste and photograph the unique neighborhoods and hamlets of the Chamonix valley. Meet with chefs, artists, craftsmen, guides… Admire and taste their creations.
Cost: 15€ to 29€ depending on the walk
Duration: 2 1/2 - 3 hours. Accompanied and pleasant walking on small roads and snowy paths.
Warm shoes with good soles. Walking poles and mini-crampons are recommended in case of slippery conditions.

A short up-hill walk to a typical and little-known neighborhood facing the Mont Blanc. Then a small path back to town

MONTROC & TRÉLECHAMP – SHARING THE WILDERNESS TERRAIN / SPECIAL YOUNG PHOTOGRAPHERS
Discover photography while discovering how man has adapted to nature. Two hamlets hidden in the snow, a larch forest, a protected moor. Tea and cakes await us in an old and typical chalet. Cost: 20€

VALLORCINE - LIFE IN THE MOUNTAINS, AS IMAGINED
The sun has returned to the most rustic of the valley villages. A small chain of tiny hamlets linked together by a snowy, well-kept path. Wonderful photographic potential. After the walk, a chance for hearty appetites to try the BERTHOUD, the local cheese dish (reserve your table ahead of time). Cost: 15€

CHAMONIX - THE MONT BLANC FROM SUN TO SUNSET
Up a snowy path to the highest neighbourhood in town. An incredible view on the sunny side of Chamonix. Denis Carrier, wine connaisseur and owner of the Auberge du Bois Prin, dresses the table of his restaurant for a Savoy Wine & Cheese tasting. Cost: 29€

CHAMONIX - LES MOUILLES AND THE WIBAULT PAINTING TRADITION
Hats off to Lionel Wibault in the quaint neighborhood of Les Mouilles. This unique artist and mountain guide opens up his studio for us to talk about his passion. A special tribute this winter to the father & son tradition. Cost: 15€

SERVOZ - A RURAL VILLAGE OF ARTISTS & CREATORS
We meet with contemporary wood sculpteur Patrick Böhm in his vast workshop in the old-quarter of Servoz. But first, we stop off to greet the chef Marc Serres, Bib Michelin, in his busy kitchen at the Hôtel des Gorges. A convenient and cosy spot for a home-made lunch after the walk. Cost: 15€

THE VILLAGE OF LES BOIS - NEW-BORN LAMBS, BABY KIDS & FRESH FARM CHEESE
Goat and sheep breeders Christian and Vincent Fournier take a moment this spring to welcome us to their farm where Christian makes his wonderful cheese. We get there by walking through the picturesque village of Les Bois. Cost: 15€

ARGENTIÈRE - ART, MOUNTAIN-CLIMBING, PASSION
A small village huddled around a baroque church and its cemetary. In an austere and magnificent environment, we visit stone sculpteur and mountain guide Roland Cretton who invites us to discover his mineral creations. Cost: 15€
