Southern BurgundyDry Spell

Southern Burgundy in summer 2015 after a month without rain and a heatwave. Water restrictions have been put in place and the grape harvest will most likely take place early.

Golden brown fields.

Countryside from Brancion. All fields (except for those growing wheat) in a normal year would be green

Ground view of the fields above.

As the cornfields haven't had enough rain they aren't growing.

On the bright side the grapes are coming along nicely!
