BurgundyA Year in Burgundy

Now on Netflix!

This 2012 documentary follows one year in the life of seven winemaking families (viticulteurs) in Burgundy. All four seasons are covered as is the magic of les vendanges (grape harvest) and the ups and downs of daily life. The movie gives you a front row seat into the lives of those who create some of Burgundy's best wines.

French wine importer Martine Saunier is the main character. Co-starring with her are the seven families who even if they use modern equipment still approach their wine making as art.

Six of the seven wineries (domaines) are in the Côte d'Or department near Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy:

Domaine Leroy 21190 Meursault +33 (0)3 80 21 21 10

Domaine Perrot-Minot 54, Route des Grands Crus 21220 Morey-Saint-Denis +33 (0)3 80 34 32 51
